Winter Break!

We had an awesome day today! We took all our test in the morning and then started the holiday festivities!!! We made a reindeer ornament, sang holiday songs, ate pizza, lots of treats, and watch our video for our winter assembly! The video is upload on the school website! Check us out!


Homework:

Your child has been learning a lot in class in preparation for the ISAT tests coming up at the end of February.  To help your child maintain what has been taught already over the 3-week break, we have compiled a homework packet that reinforces skills and strategies learned in class.

In addition your child is required to read and complete 2 book reports. It’s so important that your child READS, READS, and READS! I have placed two leveled books in a zip block bag. Every book is at your child’s level so they will be able to read the text. Please have your child complete the required reading and book reports by Monday, January 9^th, 2012.

Hi! The students did AWESOME in today's performance!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you to all the parents/family who made it out and supported your child. They were so happy and excited to show you their new moves. ONE MORE DAY LEFT BEFORE BREAK!!!! YAY!

Holiday Party: I will be purchasing pizza for the kids tomorrow. I am requesting that students bring in their drink of choice to have with the pizza. Also, if you would like to send treats you can, but please make sure there is enough for all 22 student

Hi! Today we worked on ISAT prep and tips for good test taking skills. We also had our last practice for our winter assembly tomorrow (scroll down for more information).

Winter Assembly on Thursday 12/15/11

Hi! Our class will be performing in the Winter Assembly this Thursday! There will be 2 shows 9:30am and a 1:00pm. We hope you can make it!!!!!!

Students need to wear: Jeans for bottoms (Jean or balck skirt with tights for girls is okay too) and top should be a nice Red OR Green shirt.

Weekend Homework

Hi! We have been working very hard on our Winter Assembly performance. We can't wait to show you all our moves. Please make sure your child has a red or green top and some nice jeans or jean skirt for the bottoms. We want the students to look like "elves" for the show!!!

Hi! Today we took the NWEA test for Math. I am happy to report most students increased their score from last time!!!! We will have the official scores to send home soon! We will take the Reading test next week on Monday.

Today we worked very hard on putting together our Science boards!!!! Tomorrow we will be visiting the school Science Fair! Also, tomorrow we are having our NWEA test, we want our students to try their best and reach their target goal!!!!!
